CFEC —> Vision Source 20/20
As you may already know, our practice has recently gone through some exciting changes. We wanted to take a brief moment to share the news and provide some insight into the reasons for these changes.
Practice Name Change:
First, we have made a strategic decision to rebrand our practice Studio 20/20. We believe our new name will give our practice a more distinct and memorable name that matches our boutique environment and personalized model of healthcare. While Carolina Family Eye Care served us well, it did not differentiate us from the many other eye care practices in the area. Studio 20/20 showcases our uniqueness and will hopefully help you remember us the next time you need your eye health and vision exam! We also think it will make it easier for your friends, neighbors, and colleagues to find us when seeking their care based on your thoughtful and much appreciated recommendations.
Becoming a Vision Source Practice:
We are proud to be a part of this national coalition of doctors in private practice because we share Vision Source’s values and mission in eye care. The nearly 3000 practices in all 50 states, approximately 10% of the market, represent the very best in our profession. The doctors and their practices are hand selected and invited to join this prestigious network based on their ethics, quality of care, and history of giving back to their community and profession. In 2003, we were one of the first practices in the state to join this organization and we’ve been one of the leading practices ever since.
With the relocation of the University office (due to the “Light Rail” project on N. Tryon), the time was right to rename our practice, both University and Ballantyne locations, Vision Source Studio 20/20. We maintain 100% ownership with complete autonomy to independently practice personalized eye care, and we enjoy all the benefits of being in this incredible network. Lastly, the influence of corporately owned eye centers has, in our opinion, eroded the quality of eye care being delivered in today’s health care market. We are thankful that the Vision Source leadership is working so diligently to protect our independence, as we believe the highest standard of care is provided when the practice owners are delivering care for their patients. We hope you agree and continue to support us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this note from your eye doctors. We feel so privileged to have your trust in eye care and your support throughout the years.
Warm Regards,
The Doctors and Staff of Vision Source Studio 20/20
