Hybrid Contact Lenses
Hybrid contact lenses are a unique combination of both a rigid gas-permeable contact lens and a soft contact lens. This type of contact lens offers superior optics through its gas-permeable center and the comfort of a soft lens through its soft contact lens edges. With this type of contact lens, those over the age of forty can also enjoy the benefits of seeing far-away and up-close with multifocal optics.
Hybrid contact lenses are prescribed similarly to scleral lenses. See the FAQ for the Scleral Contact Lenses.
