Dr. Alexandra Robertson is a valued Optometrist at Vision Source Studio 20/20

Dr. Alexandra Robertson is a Carolina native; she was born and raised around the Charlotte suburbs.  She attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement.  Dr. Robertson graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.  Upon her graduation she was awarded the Dr. Robert and Evelyn Henry Outstanding Clinician Award.  She received training in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataract post-op management, as well as low vision rehabilitation, at the Ralph H. Johnson VA in Charleston, SC.  Dr. Robertson developed knowledge in treating ocular disease and adult primary care during her graduate career while at The Eye Center in Memphis, TN and Draisin Vision Group in Charleston, SC.  

After graduation, Dr. Robertson was handpicked to complete a vigorous residency in managing ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at Paul Vision Institute in Wilmington, NC.  While completing her residency she became knowledgeable in macular degeneration, glaucoma, and emergency eye care.  

Dr. Robertson is incredibly passionate about sustainability and held an active role in clubs while attending both USC and SCO.  From digging through trash to sort out the recyclable materials, picking up litter on the Mississippi River, and sharing her knowledge about sustainability, she has made it a goal to educate others about sustainable living. 

When Dr. Robertson is not seeing patients, she enjoys exploring restaurants around Charlotte and spending time with her family and her rescue dogs – Eyeleen and Onyx.  Dr. Robertson strives to ensure her patients understand and are educated on both their ocular and systemic health.  Her goal is to deliver exemplary eyecare to the community.  She looks forward to meeting you at your next visit to Vision Source Studio 2020.
